Verity joined the committee of the Hunstanton One-Act Drama Festival in 2022 as Secretary & Publicity Officer and is no stranger to the theatre, preferring to remain very much in the audience rather than treading the boards herself*. During her career at Sky Broadcasting, she was involved with Sky's original scripting teams and worked with Sky's Director of Entertainment to encourage in-house writing talent. Verity has been involved in a variety of public events for the town of Hunstanton since moving to the coast in 2016 and she runs a monthly Play-reading group for the Hunstanton u3a. *(She did however star in her very own production in March 2024 when she married her partner of some 20 years!)
