Verity joined the committee of the Hunstanton One-Act Drama Festival in 2022 as Secretary & Publicity Officer and stepped up to the new role of Deputy Festival Director in 2023. During her career at Sky Broadcasting, she was involved with Sky's original scripting teams and worked with Sky's Director of Entertainment to encourage in-house writing talent. Verity is an avid theatre goer, her only experience of treading the boards being in a school play of the Emperor's New Clothes which she co-wrote with a school chum. That single experience has forever filled her with admiration for the groups who perform at the Princess Theatre, Hunstanton in the One-Act Drama Festival! Verity has been involved in a variety of public events for the town of Hunstanton since moving to the coast in 2016 and she runs and performs in a monthly Play-reading group for the Hunstanton u3a.
